Morgan Fairchild is an American actor from the United States. The actress was born Patsy McClenny, on February 3, 1950. The actress gained fame from late 1970s until the the early 1980s when she appeared on numerous television shows that usually reflected a glamorous look. Fairchild began her career in The CBS morning soap Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. She made her debut in the soap opera of the same name Dallas as the first actress to play Jenna Wade before taking a leading role on the NBC series Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for Television Series Drama). In 1984 she costarred in ABC's short-lived primetime soap Paper Dolls. Between 1985 to 1986, Fairchild played the role of attorney Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild is also an actor on stage and has appeared on TV shows like Murphy Brown, for which she received an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in Comedy Series. Additionally, she is an SAG-AFTRA Board member.
