Kelly Clarkson is an American singer and songwriter who became the nation's sweetheart after winning the American Idol title in the first season of the show. Not only was she pushed into the spotlight by her victory however, she also signed a record deal for multiple albums with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. Since her debut, she released numerous albums. Of those albums three made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The other albums came close to reaching the top position. She's one of the biggest stars to come out from American Idol. As her career progressed, she began experimenting with new themes and styles of music. Sometimes, she co-wrote songs to express her feelings. Her uniqueness and vocal ability earned her critical acclaim and a number of important prizes. She has been awarded the Grammy Award 3 times. Music isn't the only thing she does. Her appearances in television and film. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is a story for children that she wrote for her daughter.
