Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1996, in Miami Florida. The mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father is an Argentinean of Scottish as well as English heritage is also her mother. Her mother's heritage is Spanish and English. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four brothers and sisters, with one coming at each one of their parents' previous marriages. After being in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was very traumatic. She refused to learn English and hoped she could relocate back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed from Northlands and then Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school productions. When she was 16, she quit the school to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to work as an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her the opportunity to model.
