Walker was born in the year 1976 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania United States of America. She is of African-American heritage and is an American national. She has parents named Harvey Welker who is Native American as well as Julie Welker who is African-American. Her mother works as a real estate agent and her father is an engineer. Walker attended her school at the Germantown Friends School of Philadelphia's Germantown in 1994, and was awarded the diploma in 1994. After that, in 1998, she earned her graduation from Harvard College with a Bachelor's degree. Welker is married to John Hughes a well-known marketing director for Merck in Philadelphia and the couple has two children. They began an affair during 2014, when they were together. John her husband has an age difference of four years compared to her. Their relationship was progressing so well that they took this to the next level. They were married on the 4th day of March 2017.
